Make sure that you have started the game in the Frozen Throne mode. Lightyears better than WOW.Start Warcraft III. Ultimately I would have to hand it to Reign Of Chaos and the reason being that Terror Of The Tides just wasn't as interesting as the other campaigns, that and what happens in Legacy Of The Damned that annoyed me. They should have had a battle between Kel'thuzad and the Dreadlords while Sylvanas chases Arthas to Northrend, that would have been perfect but nope. I consider Curse Of The Blood Elves to be my favourite campaign of them all, Legacy Of The Damned is my second favourite, heck it would have been my favourite if it wasn't for Sylvanas. That being said however, I think gameplay wise, Frozen Throne is the best hands down as the missions are a lot more fun and varied, Frozen Throne also features some of my favourite characters, namely Balnazzar, Detheroc, Varimathras and Kil'jaeden. On one hand, Reign Of Chaos is perfect, I wouldn't change anything in it.įrozen Throne on the other hand does have a few flaws here and there, it's still really good but there are things that I would change, like Sylvanas' entire story in Legacy Of The Damned, that was stupid as hell, she should have chansed after Arthas not stayed to become queen of Lordaeron. Green base on TFT HU lvl 2 is also a pain to destroy.
3rd ROC orc mission (+optional quest on hard) is more difficult than all others for me. Later, sneak in with couple blood orcs and Grommash for easy kill.as soon as you get doctors mission(s) become easy on Orc.
When hunter of shadows start, people find it difficult to fend off first assault, but its easy - tier up to healing wards, make expo, make couple doctors, 8-10 towers and you're done - just let broken Pierce damage (in ROC) do its magic without micro. The main problem (except Sylv side) are those 1100hp poison crit assassins.
In TFT UD lvl1 on hard (super easy on normal) you have to micro 3 sides, prevent leaks, scout for caravans, out damage / gimmick a healing Pala and beat all 3 in the end. I've never found wc3 missions where you can build towers (not UD) that difficult. Symphony is imposing but you can make naga do stupid stiff. Both of those are difficult, but not frustrating imo.
